A series of photographs that depict tranquil spaces within the North Brooklyn Industrial Zone. Meandering observations through an area designated for commercial and industrial businesses, a part of the city not intended to be traversed slowly and by foot. Superfund sites and highway underpasses, barbedwire fences and metal crushing claws, birds nests and accidental rainbows. Along each sidewalk a delicate balance of incidental beauty amidst the intentions of manufacturing and commerce—consideration of the co-existence of opposing forces.
